Over 300 companies across the industry were in contention for awards that celebrate women-friendly, inclusive workplaces in India, but our team took home the Top 5 award in four categories in addition to bagging the Top 20 award in four other categories.

The DivHERsity Awards, presented by JobsForHer, is a celebration of gender diversity in the workplace. It’s a one-of-a-kind gender diversity award curated to support and recognize the exceptional work done by companies to accelerate female participation and performance in the Indian workforce.

Our Verizon India team participated in the 2021 DivHERsity Awards to share and discover best practices that support gender equality and diverse workplaces. For the second time in a row, we were recognized as a leader in gender diversity employment practices across various categories.
Other Verizon India DEI programs and initiatives to help V Teamers move their careers forward include the “WINGS-Back to Work” program, which has helped many restart their careers after a break. The program was recognized as a top innovative practice in the Women Returnee Program category.
