Northern New Jersey residents can now experience first-hand the superior quality and innovative features of Verizon’s all-fiber-optic FiOS TV and FiOS Internet services at the company’s FiOS store in Paterson.
Located in Center City Mall at 301 Main Street, the store showcases Verizon’s FiOS Internet, FiOS TV and FiOS TV digital video recorder (DVR) products. A grand re-opening on Saturday, March 30, featured free refreshments and gifts. Also on hand for the celebration were local community leaders, including Paterson Mayor Jeffery Jones.
Inside the store, shoppers were able to see for themselves what all the excitement is about FiOS as they saw how life-like high-definition programming looks on FiOS TV and experienced the speed and vast capabilities of FiOS Internet service, which offers download speeds up to 300 megabits per second.
Verizon representatives were on hand to demonstrate FiOS services, answer questions and help shoppers place orders for new services. Customers from the area can stop into the store to see FiOS DVR demonstrations, pay their Verizon bills, and pick up or return FiOS TV set-top boxes. The store is open Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Verizon’s FiOS TV and FiOS Internet services currently are available in parts of Paterson, as well as 351 other New Jersey cities and towns.
