We remain open for business and for some of our retail team that means learning new ways to serve our customers.

“At first we thought, how is this going to work? There are so many of us,” said Danielle V., a Solutions Specialist in Pennsylvania. “But then they said we had the option of doing telesales or customer service and I knew right off the bat that I wanted to do telesales. I wanted to get back into the rhythm of what I was doing before. I was missing it so much.”

“We were assured that our redeployment would be something similar to what we were doing previously,” says Jim G., a Solutions Specialist in New Jersey. “That raised my comfort level that I could do something that I already know how to do.”

“I looked at it as, no matter where I was placed, I was going to take that as an opportunity to learn,” said John S., a General Manager from Connecticut. “Right now, I’m able to get the best on-the-job experience and not have to worry about my retail job.”

John and thousands of other V Teamers have now gone through redeployment training and he came away impressed. “The training was put together in a way that valued our skills and then built on them,” said John S. “In seven hours, I was able to have a relatively strong working knowledge of how to receive and route the calls and do all that we do remotely.”

“As far as selling and offering the right solutions for customers, that’s something we do every day,” says Adam L. a Solutions Specialist from New Jersey. “The identity of the job is much the same. We’re just working with different tools.”

“It just makes sense to put us in these roles. It’s awesome for us to see a different side of the business,” said Danielle. “But it’s also amazing for our business to take advantage of these employees they have cross trained and can now help customers in a different way.”

“It’s exciting. It’s emotional,” admitted John S. “I can’t undersell how valuable I feel.”

Congrats to all V Teamers who have made a recent transition in roles. Thanks for continuing to find new ways to serve our customers at the highest level.
