My Verizon Website - Update Connected Device Emergency Address (E911)

Here's how to update the E911 address on your device, used by emergency personnel, via the My Verizon website.
  • A valid US address is required for E911 functionality.
  • This info gets transmitted to the emergency dispatcher for all 911 calls made using a Wi-Fi network.
  • If address validation fails then the users will be prompted to enter a new address until a valid address is entered.
  1. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon.
  2. Navigate:
    Account
    Account settings
    Account settings overview
    .
  3. From the Contact & Billing section, select
    E911 addresses
    .
  4. From the Manage E911 addresses section select
    Edit
     to the right of the appropriate number.
    The option to manage an E911 address will only appear if the number is eligible as a Host MDN and may require scrolling to the bottom of the screen.
  5. Enter the new address then select
    Save Changes
