Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Galaxy Tab S4.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon then tap
    Configure
    .
  4. Configure any of the following then tap
    Save
    :
    • Network name
    • Hide my device
    • Security (e.g., Open or WPA2 PSK)
    • Password
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the preferred password.
    • Band (e.g., 2.4Hz, 5 GHz)
  5. Tap
    Timeout settings
     then select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, etc.).
