  • Do I have to be a Verizon subscriber to purchase the PC & TV Protection Plan?

  • Yes, you need to have Verizon Internet, TV or Voice service to purchase a Verizon PC or TV Protection Plan. To review different plans, visit PC & TV Protection Plans and chose a plan that will suit your needs.

  • When can I make a claim under my Verizon PC & TV Protection Plans Service plan?

  • With all Verizon PC & TV Protection Plans Service plan packages there is a 30-day waiting period before you can file a claim. Once you have purchased your service plan and waited 30 days you are eligible to file a claim.

  • I have purchased an extended warranty, is the PC & TV Protection Plan necessary?

  • Yes, because a PC & TV Protection Plan will protect all flat panel televisions (LED, LCD, plasma displays), computers, and phones in your home not covered by extended warranty. Once any extended warranty expires on a device in your home, that device will automatically be covered under your Protection Plan.

Coverage and Use

  • How do I initiate a claim using my Verizon PC & TV Protection Plan?

  • The claim reporting process can be initiated by speaking with a PC & TV Protection Plan representative.

    If you would like to initiate a claim using your Verizon PC & TV Protection Plan service plan, call the number for technical support listed on your bill or obtain the number by navigating to My Account now.

  • Under the PC & TV Protection Plan, will my device be repaired or replaced?

  • Whether your device will be repaired or replaced is dependent upon the age and brand of the device for which you are filing a claim and the type of repair that needs to be done.

  • If my television or PC is a total loss, will recycling of equipment be covered under my plan?

  • Yes. If your equipment is proven to be a total loss recycling will be handled by PC & TV Protection Plans.

    Laptops, Personal Computers, or television sets less than 32 inches will be shipped to an PC & TV Protection Plans facility to determine whether the item is a total loss.

    An item will NOT be shipped back to a customer for disposal if the item is determined to be a total loss.

  • Are there any limits to the number of claims I can file or benefits I can receive?

  • Yes. After the standard 30-day waiting period following the purchase of your PC & TV Protection Plans Service Plan, there is an aggregate claim limit within a rolling 12-month period.

    The aggregate claim limit varies depending on the PC & TV Protection Plans product that was purchased.

  • Will a repair person visit my home to repair a laptop? What is ADH?

  • No. You will receive a pre-paid postage box to return your laptop to our depot for repair. You will not incur any extra expenses for this process.

    ADH stands for “Accidental Damage in Handling”. ADH covers your laptop from spills, cracks, and falls.

  • Can I cancel my PC & TV Protection Plan subscription at any time? How do I cancel?

  • Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time.

    Certain products can be cancelled online. Log in to My Account and review your subscription and cancellation.
