Near Field Communication, or NFC, lets you share playlists, photos, videos, and much more with just one tap on your Samsung Galaxy S7 edge from Verizon.
To begin, make sure NFC is on.
Open the Notification Panel by touching and sliding down from the top of the screen.
Then, tap the Settings icon.
Scroll down and tap NFC and payment.
To turn on NFC, slide the switch to the On position.
Read the prompt, and if you agree tap OK.
To share files with other NFC-capable devices, turn on Android™ Beam.
Tap Android Beam.
Then, slide the switch to the On position.
Once both your phone and another NFC-capable device have NFC and Android Beam turned on, you are ready to share.
To do so, go to a photo, video, web page, or other file you would like to share. For this example, we will share a photo.
Press the Home button.
Then, tap Apps.
Tap Gallery.
Now, find a photo that you want to share.
Once you've found the item you want to share, hold the back of your phone to the back of the other device.
When the devices connect, you will feel a vibration and see "Touch to beam."
Tap the photo to send it to the other device.
You may now pull the devices apart.
Note that the first time it may take a few seconds for the phones to connect.
On the other device, the photo will appear when the transfer is complete.
