Smart Setup

1 Get the Verizon Cloud appStep 1 Get the Verizon Cloud app

From the Apple App Store, download and install the Verizon Cloud app on both phones.

2 Open the Verizon Cloud appStep 2 Open the Verizon Cloud app

Open the Verizon Cloud app on both phones, then tap Get Started.

3 Open the MenuStep 3 Open the Menu

Open the Menu in the upper left corner of the Verizon Cloud app on both phones, then select Content Transfer.

4 Select your phoneStep 4 Select your phone

On both phones, select which is your old phone and which is your new phone, then tap Next.

5 Select iPhone to iPhoneStep 5 Select iPhone to iPhone

Select the iPhone to iPhone transfer combination on both phones.

6 Turn off BluetoothStep 6 Turn off Bluetooth

If your Bluetooth is on, you will receive a prompt to turn it off before continuing. Select Settings to be brought to "Settings". If not prompted, skip to step 10.

7 Locate Bluetooth settingStep 7 Locate Bluetooth setting

8 Switch Bluetooth offStep 8 Switch Bluetooth off

In the "Bluetooth" settings screen, tap the switch to turn it off. Bluetooth is off when the switch is in the grey position.

9 Return to Verizon CloudStep 9 Return to Verizon Cloud

Tap Verizon Cloud in the top left corner to go back to the Verizon Cloud app.

10 Scan the QR codeStep 10 Scan the QR code

From your old phone, scan the QR code displayed on your new phone.

11 Confirm the start of the transferStep 11 Confirm the start of the transfer

Tap Start transfer.

12 Select what to transferStep 12 Select what to transfer

On your old phone, select the content you want to transfer and then tap Transfer.

13 Wait for the transfer to completeStep 13 Wait for the transfer to complete

Transfer progress is displayed on the status bar. Transfer time depends on how much content you have.

14 Congrats, you're doneStep 14 Congrats, you're done

When the transfer is finished, tap All done on both phones.
