A New Option Arrives With Verizon Spanish Chat

Hispanics are avid technology users, mobile dominant and lead in the use of social networking to communicate with friends and family. With Hispanics representing 18% of the U.S. population, and 29% of them being Spanish preferred, Verizon is taking another step forward in enhancing the customer service experience for this consumer base with the launch of Verizon Spanish Chat – an online chat for wireless customer support service offered in Spanish.

Launched on August 23, 2015, the new online service provides yet another channel for customers who prefer Spanish to engage with Verizon’s customer support team in-real time for everything from general inquiries and billing questions, to tech support and global questions. The Spanish Chat service team is based in El Paso, TX and hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. MST, and Saturday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. MST.

Through the launch of Verizon Spanish Chat, Verizon is demonstrating its commitment to delivering on the promise of the digital world to address and solve for the needs of the Hispanic community, and provide a best-in-class service experience.
