On today’s episode of Up To Speed, we open the Good Mailbox and find it overflowing with notes of appreciation from our retail store customers. Here are only three of the many that we’ve received, praising our V Teamers for their care, kindness and effort:

John S. had this to say after being helped by Retail Specialist Miguel Estrada in our Glendora, CA, store:

“From the moment he introduced himself, Miguel was very professional. He found a solution to why I visited the store that day and also found me savings on a new device I purchased. This man deserves a promotion. I’ve only been with Verizon for three months and his service and attention to detail will keep me as a customer. Please thank him again for me. I have never been taken care of by any person like him in any retail store.” 

Jessica S. gave a glowing shout out to Darius Spenser, a Retail Specialist for his help in our Salisbury, NC, location. 

“Darius got my order and asked if I had any questions on setting up my new device and watch. He was very helpful, and you could tell he was smiling even though he was wearing a mask! I would definitely recommend him to any other clients. Everything was great. Was happy to leave AT&T and was welcomed at Verizon!!!!” 

Finally, Calithia S. praised the quality of service she received from Retail Specialist Misty Hobson in our Smyrna, TN, store when Calithia’s family was having a particularly bad day: 

“Misty connected with me and understood my situation. I was stressed. My son’s phone was stolen and his car broke down. Living out of town, I needed a solution. She listened and helped me work through it. His safety depended on communication. Verizon and Misty stepped up!” 

The past 18 months have not been easy for our retail teams. That’s why we celebrate Miguel, Darius and Misty, along with all those who continue to go above and beyond for our customers every day. Your efforts have a tremendous impact on how they experience our networks, products and services, and what you do and say in one meeting often impacts how they perceive the Verizon brand for years to come. Thank you for your excellence and for inspiring the rest of us to follow your lead!
