Typically, on a golf course you’ll hear “Fore!” But if you were in Arizona last weekend, you may have been just as likely to hear “5G!”
Fans at the Phoenix Open got to experience the amazing performance of our 5G Home Internet in our “home” setting in the Birds Nest. They also were impressed by the possibilities of 5G Home, and the fact that plans start at just $25 a month.
“The reason I want 5G Home Internet is so I can watch my shows without any interruptions,” noted Arizona resident Jason Terry, who stopped by Verizon’s Phoenix Open activation last week. “Personally, I was shocked (to learn) that all you had to do was plug in a box. That’s way easier than what I have.”
California resident Chrissy Eblin told us she’s interested in 5G Home and Business Internet for her workplace. “We want something that’s super reliable and less headache for everyone in our business, including our admins, so that just makes much more sense,” she added.
Fans also raced against the clock to sink as many putts as they could in one minute, about as long as it takes to set up our plug-and-play 5G Home unit, for a chance to win a prize. Everyone walked away a winner with giveaways and a fully juiced battery thanks to our on-site charging stations.
In addition to all things 5G Home, we showcased our latest Kindness Mural, which was painted live by artist Jason Naylor. Learn more about #ACallForKindness and how you can get involved at verizon.com/kindness.
