A first-in-the-nation collaboration among Verizon, the Susquehanna Art Museum (SAM) and local artist Stephen Michael Haas has produced a true work of art in Harrisburg.

Last week, members of the Harrisburg community gathered to admire Haas’ custom artwork that beautifully wraps around a Verizon 5G pole without negatively impacting the network. The celebration was attended by local business owners, elected officials, museum staffers, art enthusiasts and reporters, as well as Verizon’s cross-functional Verizon team members, who transformed the project from idea to reality while maintaining network integrity.

Verizon recently expanded availability of 5G Ultra Wideband to large portions of Harrisburg.

It’s not the only way Verizon has made a recent artistic impression in Harrisburg: Last November, Verizon sponsored a local Kindness Mural by Pennsylvania artist Ali M. Williams.
