On today’s edition of Up To Speed, host Andy Choi was joined by Chief Human Resources Officer Samantha Hammock.

They discussed the recent tragedies at a gathering in Laguna Woods, California; at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York; and, yesterday, at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. Andy also acknowledged that today is the two-year anniversary of George Floyd’s death.

Andy and Sam assured V Teamers if they’re having a hard time processing or coping with these events, they’re not alone, and help is available. Employees struggling with mental, emotional or physical challenges can get help through our resources:

Sam and Andy closed the episode by reminding V Teamers to practice self-care and kindness toward one another.
