On today’s edition of Up To Speed, host Andy Choi caught up with our CEO Hans Vestberg and our Chief Human Resources Officer Sam Hammock at our November Leadership Forum.
The two-day event serves as an important moment to re-focus on delivering on our strategy. With 59 days left in the year, all of us need to ensure we deliver big this holiday season. Hans encouraged V Teamers to continue spreading the news about our Verizon Home Internet’s 10-year price guarantee, and supporting Small Business Days. Hans gave a special shout out to our frontline teams for everything they do – day in and day out for our customers.

Hans also thanked V Teamers for continuing to be transparent and ask critically important questions. Several questions we raised during our 3Q Earnings Q&A session were addressed directly during the Leadership Forum and sparked important dialogue.
Sam was equally proud of the V Team for speaking up and trusting that we’re doing something with the feedback.
More than 105,000 V Teamers responded to our recent Q4 VZPulse survey – that’s an 87% response rate, our second highest to date. There was a positive uptick across the board – action planning progress, well-being, work experiences and overall satisfaction. Sam was so proud that V Teamers feel Verizon is caring for their well-being, and that V Teamers are taking care of each other.
