Today’s special episode of Up To Speed Live spanned the entire country, with live reports from host Diana Alvear in New Jersey, as well as from Andy Choi and Jess Bonardi in sunny southern California, where football fans are gearing up for Sunday’s big game.

After an epic opening segment that showed Andy and Jess picking up some friends of Up To Speed in a sweet convertible, the dynamic duo checked in from our Hawthorne store and our newly remodeled Inglewood location. Our local V Teamers showed us all the great ways they’re helping our customers with a wide range of technology needs.

Those customers and millions of others are getting psyched for the big game, not to mention the most epic halftime show ever, featuring Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and more.

Our big game ad

For those of us who love commercials, Diana shared a special treat: a teaser of our spot that will air during the big game. It features comedy legend Jim Carrey reprising one of his most iconic roles as “The Cable Guy.” We can’t wait to see the whole thing!

The upcoming week

We’ve got a big week ahead on Up To Speed, including a chat with a former MVP of the aforementioned big game; a super fun experience at our 5G Labs; and an NFL Green update. We’ll wrap the week on Friday with a Jess and Andy takeover, so be sure to check that out!
