Mix & match on Fios online-only employee offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible to receive the Fios offer?

Active Verizon employees and eligible retirees are currently eligible to receive the Fios employee offer. Contractors are not eligible. Verizon may from time to time change, add or remove qualifying groups. Only one promotion is available and permitted per employee/retiree. In general, the Fios offer cannot be combined with other promotions. In some instances a promotion available to the public may be made available to the Fios employee offer.

I am an active Verizon employee. How do I get the offer?

Step 1: Go to www.verizon.com/home/mlp/employee-offer.


Select the Verizon employee option, and enter all the required information and submit to see if you qualify. You'll enter your work email address, last name, state of residence and Enterprise ID (EID):

  • Verizon employees can find their Enterprise ID on the VZ Web under About You/My IDs.
  • Verizon Media employees can find their Enterprise ID in Workday through Okta. Click on your picture in the upper right hand corner and select 'View Profile'. Click on the 'Personal' link under your name on the left side. Click on the 'IDs' tab. Find your EID within the Other IDs section.


Step 2: Receive an email from Verizon_Notification@verizon.com to order.

After you submit the requested information and qualify for the employee offer, you'll receive an email from Verizon_Notification@verizon.com at your work email address with a special link to click on to sign up. The link is valid for 30 days and you must enter the site through the link in the email. You should receive the email within 10 minutes after you submit your information. If you haven't received it, check your junk email folder.

Once you receive the email and click on the link to order, if you are in a Fios-eligible area, you'll see the Mix & match on Fios employee offer.

To proceed with viewing and ordering the Mix & match on Fios Employee Offer, you will need your MyVerizon.com User ID and password to access your account. If you do not know your User ID and password, you'll need your current Verizon phone bill to register on the site. It is recommended you have your username and password ready before starting an employee offer enrollment process. Please note: Online enrollment is the only way to get the Mix & match on Fios employee offer.

If you forget your password, you will be routed outside the employee offer flow to create a new one. After completing this password reset, you will need to return to the link in the email that you originally clicked on in order to complete your enrollment.

Click-to-chat reps are available to assist with any questions you may have. The Fios employee offer promotion will be shown on the selection page and will be detailed in your cart at the end of the order process.

 

I am already on a Fios employee offer and want to make changes, for example, upgrading my Fios Internet speed?

Existing customers of a Fios employee offer can make changes by signing into your My Verizon account at myverizon.com. Please note: If you change from the Ultimate Employee Offer bundle to the Mix & match on Fios employee offer, you cannot go back.

I am already on a Fios employee offer. Is there a charge to upgrade to a higher Internet speed?

For the Fios employee offer the upgrade charge to higher speeds is currently waived; however, if you upgrade to 200 Mbps or higher, a new router may be required at an additional cost. The process is the same for all customers who upgrade to speeds 200 Mbps or higher.

Can I enroll in the Fios employee offer by phone?

No. The Fios employee offer is only available via online registrations.

For how long is the promotion valid?

Verizon employees will be able to keep the Fios employee offer on their account for as long as they are active employees of Verizon (or are eligible retirees of Verizon) and maintain the eligible services on their account or until the Fios employee offer is modified or discontinued by Verizon.

I am an eligible Verizon Retiree. How do I get the offer?

Step 1: Go to www.verizon.com/benefitsconnection.

Log in using the same login ID and password you use to manage your other Verizon retiree benefits. From the Home Page, under 'How can we help?' select FiOS TV. 

OR

From the Home Page, under Contacts & Helpful Info, select 'Library', then click 'Company programs', then select FiOS TV.

You'll enter your email address and your state of residence. Your last name will be filled in already.

 

Step 2: Receive an email from Verizon_Notification@verizon.com to order.

After you submit the above information, you'll receive an email from Verizon_Notification@verizon.com at your email address with a special link to click on to sign up for the Fios employee offer. Is the promotion only available to employees/retirees that subscribe to new services?

 No. Whether you are a new or existing Verizon customer, you can sign up for the Fios employee offer if you qualify. Enrolling in the Fios employee offer may result in loss of other discounts or promotions that you are receiving.

After I register on the Verizon Connections site, how long will it take to get an email back to my email address?

 Generally you should see the email from Verizon_Notification@verizon.com within 10 minutes. If you don't see the email, check your spam or junk email folder.

I followed the link in the email I received and signed into my account to get the offer, but I'm not seeing the special pricing displayed. What's wrong?

 If you start the process with browser windows or tabs already open, the system may not log into your account properly when trying to add the offer. Close ALL open Web Browser windows and tabs then click on the link you were emailed and try again.

I am currently enrolled in the Ultimate Employee Offer. Is the new mix & match employee offer a better deal?

It depends on the services and service levels you choose. You can log into your account and change your services to a Mix & match on Fios option and select which services you want and view the price available to you before submitting your order to see if the Mix & match on Fios employee offer will be more beneficial to you than your existing Ultimate Employee Offer. Please note: If you change from the Ultimate Employee Offer bundle to the Mix & match on Fios employee offer, you cannot go back.

Can I keep my existing Ultimate Employee Offer?

Employees that are currently signed up for the Ultimate Employee Offer can keep their service, and they can adjust their internet speeds as is without having to move to Mix & match on Fios. Please note: If you change from the Ultimate Employee Offer bundle to the Mix & match on Fios employee offer, you cannot go back.

I do not currently have the old Ultimate Employee Offer. Can I still get it?

The only customers eligible to sign up for a new Ultimate Employee Offer are those that are in a location that is unable to get Mix & match on Fios services. If your address is only eligible to get Fios bundled services, then your only employee-discount option will be the Ultimate Employee Offer. If Mix & match on Fios is available in your area, you cannot sign up for the old Ultimate Employee Offer.

Can the promotion be combined with other promotions or offers that I am currently receiving or that are available to the general public?

You should determine whether you will have greater savings maintaining your current plan or with the Mix & match on Fios employee Offer. Please note: Once you change your plan to the Mix & match on Fios employee offer, you cannot go back.

Where is the Fios employee offer available?

Fios is available in parts of MA, RI, NY, CT, NJ, PA, DE, MD and VA. Employees with residences that are not in a Verizon-served area are not eligible to receive promotions on Verizon In Home services. Only one employee offer account per employee/retiree is available.

How will my promotion show up on my bill?

The monthly promotion(s) will appear in the Specials and Promotions section of your Verizon phone bill.

I'm currently in the middle of a contract term. Will I incur an Early Termination Fee (ETF) if I change my bundle to sign up for the Fios employee Offer?

When you change to the Fios employee offer, any applicable ETF on your current Verizon services will be waived.

I just ordered service last week; can I still get the offer?

Yes. After your service is activated, follow the directions for registering above, register on the site and if you have the qualifying components we'll add the offer onto your account. However, if you do not have the qualifying components, you may be required to make a change to your service to qualify for the offer.

Will I be credit screened for this offer? Who will be credit screened?

Yes, Employees are subject to the same credit approval policy as all customers.

New Applicants - no service with Verizon. Verizon uses External Credit Bureau information, as well as ensures there is no outstanding balance due for current or former Verizon services. You may be subject to a deposit when adding Fios products. New applicants may be directed to contact the Credit Verification Center (CVC/Welcome Center) if the order cannot be completed online without further verification. In extremely rare situations, the CVC may ask you to place your order from a laptop or device that is not connected to the internal Verizon network.

Existing Customers. Verizon will confirm there is no outstanding past-due balance for current or former Verizon services. You may be subject to a deposit when adding Fios products and may be directed to contact the Change Order Review Team (CORT).

I have voice service with another company. Can I port-in my service to Verizon and keep my existing telephone number?

 If you have existing Internet and/or TV with Verizon and want to port-in your telephone number, you will need to call 1-800-Verizon (1-800-837-4966) first to complete the port-in and subscribe to the qualifying Fios service. Then after your order completes (generally 24-48 hours after submission), follow the instructions mentioned above, as appropriate, to enroll in the Fios Employee offer.
