Hours and hours of conferences a day. This camera has been a miracle. It's super easy to setup, easy to configure, and produced EXCELLENT video quality. My colleagues are all amazed at the level of improvement over the camera native in my laptop. There just aren't enough words to praise this device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really liking this webcam. The image quality is good, and, at least in my small, dark office, the built-in illumination does a great job of lighting up me and my surroundings. On Windows 10, setup was easy enough. After connecting the USB-A cable and waiting a few seconds, a Razer installation window automatically opened. It makes you go through a couple of dialog screens before downloading a 351 MB (if you choose only the main application, Synapse). After the installation is complete you’ll have access to a variety of image effect settings if you want it. A rather nice bonus for me is that this camera works with Linux, at least with Ubuntu 20.04. While I'd be surprised if it were officially supported, it worked out of the box for me. Cheese (a GNOME webcam application) detected it fine. And it also works fine under Google Meet. In addition to attaching to the top of a monitor, the webcam can sit flat on a surface, and it can be mounted on a tripod. I have fairly thin bezels on my display, and the lip that hangs over the edge of the top of the monitor hangs down a little past the edge of the bezel, maybe around 2 millimeters or so. There's a good amount of downward swing on the camera, so this issue can be mitigated by opening the back arm wider and leaning the entire mount back, so it's not a big deal for me. Overall, I'm quite happy with this webcam and would recommend it.

I really enjoy the built in lighting which is very useful and convenient. Image quality is also very good, the only downside I have found with this webcam so far is the built in stand/clamp is a bit flimsy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think that a web camera could get any better than this. This camera has a built-in light that helps illuminate you while on camera. This makes for a better picture and more professional appearance while conferencing or streaming. My only wish is that it was a 4K camera and supported Windows Hello for login.

This camera is way better than the first I bought from a different brand. The light can easily be adjusted and is perfect in my office. The quality of this camera I can't speak more highly of after trying several before getting this one. This is in my opinion for the cost the best value and quality out there!

I'm used to a built in webcam on a laptop and this takes such great and crisp photos and videos. I was impressed that it can be mounted on a tripod, or kind of hangs onto the front of my tv (that I use as a monitor). It was easy to setup, I didn't need to use a disc or anything! It also came with additional useful hardware that helps my computer run overall better. The ring light distributes light nice and even for a perfect image. Also it came with stickers as a bonus. (We love stickers) As far as streaming goes theres no noticable delay. So far I have only used it for Zoom, but it worked flawlessly! I am very pleased with this wonderful webcam!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The came is really fun. I love that it is super easy to use. I started using it and before I knew it it was two hours later. I did have a problem installing the software. It isnt plug and play. You have to go to a third party software site. That was annoying. I didn't like that. That should have been clearly stated from the beginning. I would recommend the Kiyo. The ring light is everything you could ask for. The picture quality is really good. Great gift for the holidays.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Razer webcam because I needed a good one for gaming and for working at home. This webcam performs excellent in both of those tasks and looks quite good. Another thing I like about this webcam is that the mounting base actually has a little bit of weight to it which prevents the webcam from tipping over whenever you move the USB cable. With this base you can either clip it on your monitor or set it on your desktop and if you really want to keep it from moving it also has a hole that you can use to screw the webcam in place. Installation was a breeze all I had to do was plug the camera into a USB port and windows took care of installing the drivers and software. The webcam also comes with the Razor Synapse software which allows you to adjust the picture on the webcam. You can adjust things such as brightness, contrast, color saturation.

im planning to put up a surveillance camera on our condo unit without internet or wi fi. is this the right camera to buy? how does it work with my samsung galaxy 8+ and i phones of my children ? so the data to be used by this camera be added to my acct.

The Razer Kiyo Broadcasting Camera with Illumination is mainly used for video conferencing and streaming and not so much as a surveillance camera.
