Buyer beware/ inner screen issues

These foldable phones have non-stop issues with the inner screen and they are not covered, even when you pay for the 2 year Care+ coverage. I have the Fold5, and my daughter has the Flip5. Her screen went out at less than a year and we had to warranty it. Her screen is again messing up and Samsung says it isn't covered though we purchased the phones and extended warranty in August of 2023. It is only June of 2025 and they say the coverage is expired. My Fold5 also had to be replaced for an inner screen issue, and I rarely use mine in the unfolded state. I will not be purchasing another foldable anytime soon, and might shift away from Samsung since they do not honor the warranty that you pay for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There was a time, not long ago I thought "the bigger the phone screen, the better!" Well gone are them days, for sure! Once you get your hands on the latest (as of the time of this review was Z Flip 6) Samsung Z Flip 6, before I even talk about any of the specifications &/or features, my favorite thing above all is the compact design when the Z Flip 6 is "closed". Its so small, sleek, & compact i can slide in either of my front pockets in my Levi's or either back pocket, without 2 or 3 inches of phone sticking out of my pocket! My line of work (Industrial Maintenance Tech/Diesel Tech/Millwright) can be & is most days, very rough on phones (from banging up against things, dropping the device its self, climbing/laying on it in my back pocket, using my phone with hydraulic fluid, Grease, Diesel/Gasoline, dirt/grime, oil, etc on my hand(s), simply put, what i do for a living can & has cracked/shattered the glass on more phones than I would like to admit, Samsung S24 Ultra, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Google Pixel 8 Pro, S25 Ultra, & even my Samsung Watch 7 Ultra. With the Z Flip line you can simply put a Tempered Glass Protector on the almost 4" outter Screen, face the screen towards your body and I can do my duties and not even think about my phone. The 4" Outter screen pretty much is capable of running every app just as it would on the inner screen (Maps, Spotify, Facebook, etc...). Camera lacks compared to S series, but im okay with giving up a little to gain alot! ��Galaxy AI also!

I used to play with his phone all the time and this phone brought back a lot of memories. I really enjoy the phone and it's really fun hanging up the phone by closing it. I also have a lot of fun customizing it and all of the cases I've found so far are really cute. The battery it's the greatest, but it's something that's expected since its a flip phone. Overall the phone is great. I also enjoy the camera quality.
