Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G - Use Multi Window

Here's how to use two apps simultaneously on your Galaxy S21 FE 5G.
  • 'Multi window' is also referred to as split screen.
  • The 'Multi window' function allows multiple apps to be run on the current screen at the same time.
  • Not all apps support 'Multi window'.

  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Recent apps icon
    Recent apps icon (lower-left).
  2. Scroll left or right to locate the preferred app.
  3. Tap the app icon (e.g., Chrome, Settings, Email, etc.) located at the top of the panel then tap
    Open in split screen view
    .
    Options may vary depending on the app selected.

  4. From the Recent apps screen, tap the second app to be viewed.
    When on, to close the split screen view slide the horizontal bar up or down off the screen.
    Adjust the size of the apps by sliding the horizontal bar between the apps up or down.

    When on, adjust the opacity of the pop-up by tapping the
    Contrast icon
    Contrast icon then sliding the blue dot left to right.
    Adjust the pop-up by tapping the Minimize Minimize icon , Maximize Maximize icon or Close icon Close icon.
