What is the My Rewards+ Program?

Note: The My Rewards+ Program is not currently taking on any new members

Verizon is committed to recognizing and rewarding our customers for choosing Verizon. We appreciate your business and realize you have a choice. So we’ve rolled out this program as a token of our appreciation for allowing us to serve as your communication and entertainment provider.

Verizon will reward points for doing the things you already do, like paying your bill online, renting On Demand movies, enrolling in Paper Free billing and much more! You'll have the ability to redeem these points for cool rewards, such as renting or purchasing On Demand titles, sweepstakes entries, and reloadable My Rewards Prepaid MasterCards® or merchant gift cards. You can even decide to use your points to donate to a charity!

The My Rewards+ program is for eligible Verizon residential customers.

How does it work?

  • Existing members may continue to redeem their points for Video on Demand, shopping/dining/entertainment gift cards, donate to charity, or enter a sweepstakes.

    In addition, you can do all this (except redeeming for VOD) through the My Fios App. Don’t have it? Get it here at My Fios app.

Getting Verizon points is easy

  • Visit the My Rewards+ homepage by clicking on the My Rewards+ menu option of My Verizon and navigating to the "Earn Points " icon/menu option. You will see the many ways in which you can earn more My Rewards+ points.

  • The best way to find out is to go to the My Rewards+ page by logging in to My Verizon and clicking on “My Rewards” from the menu. There you will see all the eligible activities that will help you accumulate the reward points. Like to watch On Demand movies? Good—earn more points!

  • The sky is the limit! We have not put limitations on the number of rewards points a member can earn in a year.

  • How long does it typically take for points to appear in my account?

  • It can take up to two to three days for most points to show up in your account. For some transactions, such as Online Move, it can take up to a full billing cycle.

  • How do I get points for online bill pay?

  • You can earn points when you pay your bill with our bill payment feature using any of the following methods:

    • The Interactive Media Guide on your television screen
    • My Fios app
    • Auto Pay

    You will receive 50 points for each month you pay, as long as the payments are made in full and on time.

    Note: payments made through your bank's Online Bill Pay service are not considered online payments and will not receive points. The Auto Pay option must be set up automatically through Verizon.

  • What if I remove the qualifying service from my account? Will I still have access to the Rewards program?

  • If you are completely disconnecting your Verizon account or disconnecting your eligible Verizon services, you may access your My Rewards+ page until the date your internet and/or TV service is disconnected.

Redeem your My Rewards+ points for things you love

  • How do I redeem My Rewards+ Points?

  • Visit the My Rewards+ home page and click on "Redeem Points." Once there, you'll be able to select from many options ranging from Sweepstakes entries, My Rewards+ Prepaid MasterCards®, merchant gift cards, and even donations to charity.

    In addition, you can redeem points for On Demand rentals and purchases online and on set-top boxes with qualifying amounts of My Rewards+ points. To view available On Demand titles online, please visit and log in. Please note that My Rewards+ points are not redeemable for all On Demand titles. Restrictions apply.

  • Can I use my rewards points to buy or rent movies?

  • Yes! This is one of the many benefits of being in the My Rewards+ program. If you have Fios TV service, you have the ability to order through our Channel Guide (Interactive Media Guide) on your TV. Simply launch On Demand on your remote control, select your movie, choose "Buy" or "Rent," enter your parental PIN (if you previously established one), and choose either "Buy Using My Rewards+" or "Rent Using My Rewards+," if presented.

    If you do not have enough My Rewards+ points to redeem for the full cost of your selected title, this option will not be available. Please note My Rewards+ points are not redeemable for all On Demand titles. Restrictions apply.

  • When do the My Rewards+ Points expire?

  • The My Rewards+ points will expire one year after the date you earned them. You will receive quarterly statements via email letting you know when your points will expire to help make sure that you don't lose them. So please be sure that we have the correct email address on your My Verizon profile so that you receive these statements. You can also log into your My Rewards+ account from your desktop, mobile phone or through the My Fios app anytime to check your current and expiring points.

  • Where can I check my gift card balances?

  • Please reach out directly to the merchants below for account balances on your merchant gift card or eCert card:

  • How long does it typically take to receive the My Rewards+ Gift Cards?

  • Visit the My Rewards+ home page and click on "Redeem Points." Once there, you'll be able to select from many options ranging from Sweepstakes entries, My Rewards+ Prepaid MasterCards, merchant gift cards, or donations to charity!

    Typically, it takes two to three weeks for delivery of the partner gift card.

  • Can I have My Rewards+ awards replaced if my gift card is lost or stolen?

  • If your My Rewards+ Prepaid MasterCard® or merchant gift card is lost or stolen, call customer service immediately and provide the credit card number at 1.866.948.2725. If you call before the expiration date, we may be able to send you a new card containing the remaining balance existing at the time of your call. Fees may apply.

  • Which merchant partners can I redeem points with?

  • We have a host of popular merchant partners for this program, including: Dunkin' Donuts, Target and Starbucks, to name a few. Visit the My Rewards+ homepage and click on "Redeem Points" to see the current list of partners. Check back often!

  • How does the MasterCard® My Rewards+ Reloadable Prepaid Card work?

  • Just use the card anywhere MasterCard® is accepted — including restaurants, department stores, and even online. Because it's a MasterCard®, you'll have purchasing freedom to get what you want, where you want it.

    If your name doesn't appear on the card, you will need to visit and create a profile before using the card online.

    Be sure to keep your card. Since it's reloadable, you can add to its balance with the My Rewards+ points you can earn as a Verizon member.

Premium Channel Upgrade with My Rewards+ Points Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I redeem My Rewards+ Points for a Premium Channel Upgrade?

  • Visit channel 860 on Fios TV and press the Fios TV button on your remote. There you will have the option to redeem 800 My Rewards+ points to receive 90 days of programming when you subscribe to a Premium Channel.

  • Which premium channels can I get by redeeming points?

  • You may redeem 800 My Rewards+ points to receive 90 days of either Showtime, EPIX or Starz. Note: you may not redeem for a channel to which you were subscribed at any time in the previous 90 days.

  • What happens at the end of the initial 90-day period?

  • Unless you cancel prior to the end of the initial 90-day period, the premium channel(s) you chose will begin billing at the standard programming rates.

  • If I cancel a channel, can I redeem 800 My Rewards+ points later for the same channel?

  • Yes, but only after a year from the date of cancellation.

  • If I have enough My Rewards+ Points, can I redeem for more than one premium channel?

  • Yes. You may redeem for as many premium channels as you wish, provided you have sufficient points (800 My Rewards+ points for each premium channel).

  • If I redeem points for a premium channel upgrade, can I later change my mind and swap for another channel?

  • No. Once you redeem your points to receive 90 days of a premium channel, you won’t have the option to switch to a different premium channel during the 90-day period.

  • How will the premium channel upgrade appear on my bill?

  • Your premium channel will be appear on your bill with a zero charge during the 90-day period. Your bill will show the date when monthly charges will begin at standard programming rates.

  • I already have a free or discounted premium channel, but the promotional period is ending. Can I redeem points for another 90 days of the same channel?

  • Yes, but if you redeem My Rewards+ points to receive 90 days of a premium channel, you have to wait a full year after the end of the 90-day period to redeem additional points for the same channel.

  • Do any black-out periods apply?

  • Yes, from time to time certain premium channels will be unavailable for redemption. However, once subscribed, there are no black-out periods on that channel.

My Rewards+ Program Terms and Conditions

  • Eligibility

  • My Rewards+ is a points-based program available to certain Verizon Consumer Wireline customers who purchase qualifying services. These services are subject to change by Verizon. In order to participate and enroll in the program, you must be 18 years of age or older and an authorized user on the account. Verizon may also require that you be a registered user of My Verizon. Customers who enroll are referred to as “Members” here. By enrolling and participating in the program, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Employees of Verizon and its vendors who are directly involved in the planning and/or implementation of the My Rewards+ program, as well as members of their immediate families and households, are prohibited from participating in it.

  • Point Accumulation

  • Existing members will be given the opportunity to earn rewards in the form of Points for taking certain actions, such as making purchases. The opportunities to earn Points will vary from time to time, as will the number of Points that may be earned. Points will not be rewarded for transactions completed by redeeming Points.

    Points will have Expiration Dates as described in the Program materials. If your Verizon account is terminated, or if you terminate all qualifying services, all Points earned will be forfeited.

  • Point Redemption

  • Members will be given the opportunity to redeem Points for the current options, which will vary from time to time. The available redemption options may include items such as gift cards (from individual merchants and/or prepaid credit cards), gift certificates, and the opportunity to make charitable donations. In order to redeem Points, we may require that your Verizon account be active and in good standing with no past-due balances.

    Rewards will be provided only to Member who earned the Points.

    Points are not transferable, including among accounts that may all be owned by you.

    Please allow at least 2 weeks (10 business days) for delivery of any rewards. Rewards will only be shipped to the client's address on file. If you do not receive your reward within the indicated time frame, you must contact us within ninety (90) days from the date of your request for the reward. After ninety (90) days, if we have not heard from you and our records indicate that your reward was fulfilled, you will be deemed to have received your reward and it will not be replaced, even if it is reported missing.

    We are not responsible for lost or stolen rewards. Rewards are not refundable or returnable, nor are they replaceable if lost, stolen, destroyed, or expired.

    Rewards may not be resold, are not redeemable for cash, and are void if sold for cash or other consideration.

    Rewards may be subject to further terms and conditions, such as terms and conditions associated with the use of a gift card or certificate by the merchant or issuer of the card.

    Gift cards/certificates must be surrendered at redemption.

    Gift cards/certificates are considered void if altered, photocopied, or reproduced. Retailers and card issuers have the right to restrict usage, and their participation in the program is subject to change.

  • General Terms

  • In these Terms and Conditions, “Verizon” or “we” refers to the affiliates of Verizon Communications Inc. that are applicable to the reference being made.

    We reserve the right to disqualify you from participation in the My Rewards+ program (and to invalidate all rewards) if we determine that you have violated the program rules, terms or conditions.

    Your My Rewards+ status will be considered inactive if you do not redeem Points at least once within each 12 month period. We reserve the right to remove inactive accounts and upon removal, all Points earned on that account will be forfeited.

    Points are not your property and cannot be bought, sold or transferred in any way (including death or as part of a domestic matter).

    Points are not redeemable for cash.

    Verizon My Rewards+ Point earning and redemption opportunities are void where prohibited by law.

    We are not responsible for disputes involving joint account holders or unauthorized users relating to rewards.

    Determination of any tax liability relating to Points and rewards, and payment of any taxes that may be due on them, is solely your responsibility.

    All questions or disputes regarding the program, including on eligibility and matters involving rewards or the earning of Points, will be resolved by Verizon in its sole discretion.

    We may terminate or modify, without liability, all or any part of the program, at any time, with or without notice. These changes may be retroactive. In addition, we may change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and by your continued participation in the program, you agree to abide by the revised version of the Terms and Conditions. If changes are made, the updated version of the Terms and Conditions will be posted on the My Verizon website. You are responsible for regularly checking this website for updates and notices of changes.
