    Suspend Your Service

    Note This service may not be available in all areas.

    Going out of town? You can suspend your Verizon services while you are out of town. Your suspension can run for a minimum of 30 days and up to 9 months.

    During this time you will continue to be billed for some services, as well as any applicable taxes and surcharges. The duration of your suspension will not count towards your bundle term commitment. If you have a Home Security Alarm, you will lose Dial Tone and connection to your alarm company while your account is suspended.

    There is a one-time charge for this service.

    Your phone will be reactivated on the date you initially requested for your vacation service. As long as your return date did not change from the time you placed your vacation service order, your service will be automatically reactivated.

    Changing Your Reactivation Date

    Contact Verizon prior to your return to change the reactivation date of your service.
