On today’s edition of Up To Speed, host Raquel Wilson shared the news of our latest Verizon Frontline asset, MUTT, which stands for Mobile Utility Technology Transport.
At Verizon, we’ve shown time and time again that we are prepared to run to a crisis. Our commitment to public safety and serving our local communities is always top of mind. This includes Verizon Frontline which provides our network and technology to first responders and as always our Verizon Frontline Crisis Response Team provides on-demand emergency assistance to help maintain mission-critical communications when they’re needed most.
We heard from Jason Mitchell, a Senior Manager with the Verizon Frontline Crisis Response Team. He broke down how our latest public safety asset is setting the stage for top-notch police cruisers. “It’s capable of leveraging the network and technology of Verizon Frontline,” Jason said. “This includes 5G Ultra Wideband along with additional applications in advanced solutions for first responders.”
The MUTT was recently debuted at the National Sheriffs Association in Kansas City, MO and received tons of positive feedback.
