Happy Monday, everyone!
As you probably know, Andy was excited to spend his summer on the road, crisscrossing the country in his new Verizon camper, meeting local artists and small business owners, talking to local V Teamers and touting our best-in-class network, all as part of our 20th anniversary celebration.
Unfortunately, that’s not possible right now.
Or is it?
Welcome to... Andy’s Staycation Road trip!
This summer, Andy will be doing all of the above - but virtually - all while remaining safely in his mom’s backyard.
There’s no better place to start this roadtrip than in Andy’s hometown - Chicago. After all, it’s where we launched the world’s first commercial 5G network. And if you go even further back, the very first commercial cell phone call was made from Chicago’s Soldier Field to Alexander Graham Bell’s grandson. That’s a lot of tech milestones!
To help give us the insider’s perspective on the Windy City, Andy caught up with fellow Chicagoan and V Teamer Alecs Lifschultz, District Manager of Retail Sales.
Finally, local musical artist JC Brooks made sure the road trip started on the right note.
That’s all for now. See if you can guess where Andy and the camper will “visit” later this week.
