Storm update
Our teams have been on the ground prepping for Tropical Storm Elsa since last weekend and our network has held up well. Our employees are safe and sound. That's what matters most. Elsa is making her way up the Atlantic coast, bringing a chance for high winds and flooding along the Eastern Seaboard. Our thanks to the Verizon response team for their commitment and hard work.

Talking BlueJeans with Eric Spadafora
Diana spoke with Vice President and General Manager of BlueJeans, Eric Spadafora. Eric talked about the challenges and opportunities of the past year as the BlueJeans team worked to keep customers connected during the pandemic.
“We’re seeing tremendous momentum,” said Eric. “Last month was our biggest sales month and our most successful quarter. The momentum is actually accelerating.”
Eric also shared his own career journey and the direction he sees BlueJeans headed in the future. “I’m truly a V Teamer. I started as a sales rep, like many of you, worked my way through various positions, including retail, wireless, wireline, B2B, and many more, all within the confines of Verizon. The commonality I see is that we do what we say we’re going to do. We always put the customer first. And that’s what we’re going to continue doing with BlueJeans.”

We were recently recognized with two awards: PC Mag named Fios one of The Fastest ISPs for 2021 — a title we’ve dominated for a decade — and US News & World Report named Fios one of the Best Internet Service Providers 2021/Best Fiber Internet Provider 2021.
Ronan Dunne shared his appreciation of the Fios teams for their incredible work in continuing to lead the way in our industry. These two Fios awards underscore Fios has best-in-class services on a best-in-class network.
We're also celebrating that for the 16th time, Seramount, formerly Working Mother Media, has ranked Verizon as a Top 10 Best Company for creating a culture that enables multicultural women to achieve their career goals.
