On today’s Up To Speed Live, host Andy Choi got some help understanding all that a “glow up” can be and shared the following updates:

The BI5GEST Upgrade Ever continues.

The buzz keeps growing around our tremendous promo offering customers a new 5G phone on us with select trade-ins and plans. One of the reasons this is such big news to so many people is that this deal is available to both new and existing customers. If you have a friend or family member who is considering making the switch to Verizon Wireless, make sure they know that we’ll help cover the costs to switch with select trade-in and select Unlimited plans.

Meghan Trainor helps Andy “glow up.”

“Glow up” is a term that may be new to many of us, including Andy. He got a hand from Grammy-winner Meghan Trainor (“All about the bass”) who explained that, in her mind, a glow up is simply an upgrade in some aspect of your life. Of course, one of the easiest and most exciting glow ups is to head to a Verizon store and trade in an old phone and get cash towards a shiny, new 5G phone.

Join the Glow Up Challenge.

Meghan isn’t the only one excited to glow up. Our two-legged and four-legged friends are getting in on the fun too, as you’ll see on TikTok. Plus, we’ve got a special contest for our V Team: Post your own glow up, which is simply a video or pictures that show how you are looking to glow up your life, with the hashtag #biggestupgradeever and you can earn a chance to win a new 5G phone. This contest is ending this week, so get those posts in soon.

5G live quiz

Andy also hosted a live quiz. If you missed it, it was a fun chance to win one of five $50 gift cards to our Verizon Brand Shop where you can purchase lots of great V Team gear, including Employee Resource Group t-shirts.

Clearly, a lot to be excited about and we send a huge thank you to our network team for all of their amazing work.
