How to pay your bill

To make bill paying as hassle-free as possible, we offer several easy ways for you to pay:

  • Use the My Fios app. The app works for non-Fios customers too.
    • Sign in > Click on Bill > Current Bill > Pay Bill > Follow the instructions.
  • Go online at My Verizon.
    • Sign in > Click on Billing > Pay Bill > Follow the instructions.

Make sure your money is in your bank account on the date you schedule your payment. Verizon charges a fee for each payment returned. Verizon also charges a late fee for payments not received in time. Check page one of your bill for your payment due date.

Auto Pay

Eliminate stamps and late fees with Auto Pay, Verizon’s automatic monthly payment plan. Your monthly bill is paid from the account of your choice: checking or savings account, debit card or credit card.

Paper Free Billing

Lose the paper -- ask for Verizon's Paper Free Billing. With the My Fios app and your bill is always viewable and printable. Set up your payment method online and pay each month with a quick click from the app or website.

TV customers can pay with their Remote

If you have Fios TV or an IMG/TV Set Top Box, you can pay with your remote control!

  1. Press Menu button on your Fios TV Remote Control.
  2. Select Customer Support, press the right arrow button, scroll to My Account and press Ok.
  3. From the Bill & Payment menu, press the right arrow button and select View or Pay My Bill.
  4. Select Pay My Bill, and then press OK.
    NOTE: If you do not have a Payment A ccount on record at, go to to add a payment account.
  5. Select Payment Amount and Payment Account, then press Continue & Pay to proceed.
  6. Verify payment information and select Submit to make your payment.

  • Yes, you can. Just go to

  • Is there a charge for any payment method?

  • Yes, when you pay your bill by phone, a $3.50 vendor fee is applicable.

  • Is there a charge for a returned check or credit card charge back?

  • Yes, there is a fee for a returned payment, credit card charge back, or returned check which is applied to your bill.

  • How do I set up and save a new payment method on My Verizon or the My Fios app?

  • To set up a payment method:

    Online in My Verizon:

    1. Go to the Management Payment Methods page in My Verizon from your computer or mobile browser.
    2. To add a new checking account, select + Add Account or to add a new credit/debit card select + Add Card.
    3. Enter the requested information.
    4. If you want to use Auto Pay with this new account, check the box next to "Yes, let's set up Auto Pay."
    5. Click Save Account. You've successfully set up a new payment method.

    Note: When you pay your bill online or with the My Verizon app using a new form of payment, you'll also be given the option to store that information as a payment method.

    My Fios App:

    You can set up a new payment method from your phone any time by going to the Manage Payment Account settings in the Options tab in the My Bill section. Don't have the app? Download the My Fios app from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

  • Can I schedule a one-time payment in advance?

  • Yes, you can schedule a one-time payment at My Verizon or on the My Fios App.

    Note: You may cancel a scheduled payment up to the date before the payment date, but not on the scheduled payment date.

  • When will my payment be processed?

  • For scheduled payments, it will be debited from your checking account or charged to your credit card on the scheduled payment date. For one-time payments, it will be debited or charged within 24 hours of submitting the payment.
