Verizon Wireless Home Phone T2000 Software Update

Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a software update for your device. This software update has been tested to optimize device performance, resolve known issues, and apply the latest security patches.

Before you download:

  • Ensure the device is connected to AC Power and you can see the Verizon Wireless Network connection on the device.

Software Version: 1.5.8.001

What's changing:

This software update provides the following improvements for your T2000:

  • Call drop: Addresses an issue that occasionally resulted in dropped calls.
  • Incoming call issue: Addresses an issue in which the incoming call indicator showed a missed call, but no call was actually received.
  • Caller ID not being displayed: Addresses an issue that prevented the Caller ID from being displayed on some Caller ID boxes.
  • Audio Issue: Addresses an issue that resulted in the device having one way audio or no audio on some calls.

Software Version: 1.5.4.001

This software update provides the following improvements for your T2000 device :

  • Number port failures: Addressed the issue that required the customer to power cycle multiple times or hard reset the device when porting the number to Wireless Home Phone
  • Audio drop/gap issue: Addressed the issue that was causing the device to temporarily lose audio feed.
  • Temporary loss of service issue: Addressed the issue that was causing the device to temporarily disconnect from the network.

This software update for your T2000 provides the following device improvements and bug fixes:

  • Call Filter: Added support for Call Filter. Call Filter displays on the connected phone, but not on the T2000 display.
  • E911: Fixed E911 calls not working properly with a deactivated SIM card or no SIM card.
  • No Audio: Addressed issue where the device had no audio.
  • Software update: Addressed the issue that prevented the device from processing a software update.
  • Intermittent disconnect: Addressed issues that were causing the device to disconnect from the network, and not reconnect.
