Modem issues
Did you know that turning your modem off and then back on solves most connection issues and can improve Internet browsing speeds? Use the power switch on the back of the modem to turn off the power, wait 15 seconds, and then turn the modem back on. Wait 45 seconds to allow the modem to synchronize to the server, and then try reconnecting to the Internet.

Note: If your modem doesn't have an on/off switch, unplug the modem from its power source instead of turning it off.

If turning your modem off and then back on doesn't solve the problem, use the graphics below to select the model of your modem. Click Modem Lights to use the lights on the front panel of the modem to help diagnose the problem.
