FiOS TV Online

How does FiOS TV Online work?
As a FiOS TV subscriber, you can watch your favorite original programming, TV shows, and the latest movies online, thanks to a growing list of participating networks.

Just sign in to FiOS TV Online with your Verizon user name and password and you can watch on your computer - at home or away - using any broadband connection. You will be able to watch shows from networks that match up with channels you subscribe to based on your current FiOS TV programming package.

Some networks also offer mobile applications that can be installed on a smart-phone or tablet enabling you to watch your favorite shows on those devices.

To recover your Verizon User ID, Password or both you may use this tool. You will need to know the answer to your secret question. If the above link does not work for you, please contact Verizon to retrieve your information.

Why is my video playback stuttering?
When a video begins to stutter, it is usually the result of your computer not having enough power or free resources to play the video. Additionally, it could also be that your Internet connection is too slow.

Bandwidth Problems
If you are experiencing both an audio and a video stutter during playback, the most likely cause is an issue with either your internet connection or your wireless network. You may also want to check with any other individuals who could be sharing your Internet connection to determine if they are hogging the connection, as this could be impacting your devices performance. If you are still experiencing a slow Internet connection, then you will need to contact Verizon.

Computer Problems
If you are experiencing video playback stutter, especially in a full screen playback mode, then your PC most likely does not have enough memory capacity to support the application. You can attempt to free up memory by shutting down other programs that may be running. If you are still experiencing the stutter when in full screen mode, but not when the video is in small screen mode on the web page, then your CPU does not have enough memory to play videos in the full screen mode. In the event that none of these steps are helpful, you may need to reinstall Flash. And if all these steps fail, you might want to consider upgrading your computer to a faster processor.

Why is my FIOS TV Online audio playback garbled?
The majority of audio issues can be resolved by trying these steps:
  1. Check to be sure that the volume level on the video player is properly set and that the movie has not been muted.
  2. Make sure that your computer speakers are turned on and that the volume is set to the appropriate level.
  3. Confirm that your computer volume is not muted. To check this do the following:
    1. On Windows: double-click the volume Icon in the System Tray making sure none of your settings are muted.
    2. On Macintosh: the volume controls are located in the top right corner of the menu bar.
  4. Verify that you are able to listen to audio files locally on your computer.
  5. Restart your browser and try to watch another video.
If the steps above fail to resolve your issue, you may need to reinstall Flash.

  • At least 1GB RAM (2GB RAM recommended for best performance)
  • 1GHz Intel or AMD processor or better
  • 500 MB free hard drive space
  • Windows XP or later
  • Internet Explorer 7.0 or above, Firefox 2.0 or above, or Safari 3.0, or Chrome 4.0 or above
  • Flash 10.0.22 or above
  • JavaScript and Cookies must be enabled
