Today’s Up To Speed Live found host Andy Choi sharing the following updates from the familiar halls of our Basking Ridge, NJ, office.
Stopping the spoofers
Andy started with news about taking on those pesky neighborhood spoofing scams that involve phone numbers that pop up with your own area code and prefix. Very sneaky! Thankfully, our free Call Filter now allows customers to silence those types of calls. Call Filter now includes Neighborhood Filter, which allows you to silence and send neighborhood spoofing calls to voicemail. This launch is part of our ongoing commitment to protect you from unwanted calls. If you don’t have Call Filter, make sure you download it on iOS and Android.
The Inside Verizon app
Make sure you also download the Inside Verizon app — the easiest way to access Verizon content. You can watch Up To Speed webcasts, find great articles about our team and learn more about how we’re moving the world forward. In addition, we are working on some Inside Verizon-app exclusive content called Speed Ups, which offer bite-sized clips of fun content full of valuable information and insight. Download the app on your work or personal devices from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. If you don’t have the direct link, just search for ‘Inside Verizon.’
Kindness murals
Summer is here and if you’re hitting the road, be sure to check out our Kindness Murals. We just added some new cities: Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, Sacramento, CA, San Francisco, Nashville, TN, Madison, WI, Lexington, KY, and Phoenix. Snap a selfie with one of the murals and post it using the hashtag #ACallforKindness. Find our other 10 mural cities and learn more about the kindness campaign at verizon.com/kindness.
