On today’s episode of Up To Speed, we meet V Teamer Bradford Zimmerman, a Marketing Manager for our Value Base Marketing Team.
Beginning his Verizon career as a Solutions Specialist about five years ago, Bradford is a Credo Award Winner who’s been named to our prestigious President’s Cabinet, Verizon’s highest attainable sales honor. He credits his Verizon retail background for giving him the tools to better understand the business and better serve our customers.
Bradford explained how important our Employee Resource Groups have been to his personal and professional development: “You can take the work title off, and you get to talk to people as humans. It’s all about networking. I think it can really expand your career.”
In addition to ERG’s, Bradford is also thankful for Verizon’s Healthy Pregnancy Program, which has been a huge help to his young family. Bradford’s also looking forward to eight weeks of paternity leave when the baby arrives.
“I’m very family oriented, so Verizon allowing me to be able to spend even more time with my family is a blessing,” Bradford said.
