Happy Monday, V Team! On today’s edition of Up To Speed live, host Andy Choi shared more of the ways Verizon continues to make its mark in Europe and beyond. He also introduced us to some of the V Teamers who are helping us do just that.

Help us spread the word

Andy kicked off the show by reminding us to continue to spread the word about our latest promotion.

In a recent Up To Speed episode, our communications colleague Andrew Testa detailed all the ways being on Verizon pays off big for new and current customers. Here are some highlights:

  • You can get an iPhone 13 on us, or up to $800 to put toward a new 5G phone, with select trade-in and select 5G Unlimited plans.
  • With our best Unlimited plans, you can unlock even more value, which includes incredible savings on popular entertainment services including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Apple Music, and so much more.
  • But wait, there’s more! When you’re on one of our 5G Ultra Wideband Unlimited plans, you may be able to bundle it with our plug-and-play Home Internet, starting at $25 per month with Auto Pay.

And V Teamers, don’t forget: If you share your Friends and Family code, your loved ones who switch to Verizon can get a bonus of up to $25 per month off new Unlimited postpaid mobile accounts, and $10 per month off Fios Gigabit Connection plans.

A successful week in London

Andy reflected on how great it was to host Up To Speed last week, live from our London 5G lab.

He highlighted how wonderful it was to connect with so many of our international V Teamers representing EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific). He and Tami Erwin, CEO of Verizon Business Group, showed employees, customers and media how we’re driving the 5G ecosystem around the globe. He also mentioned how our global approach to business is one of the many reasons why customers like Associated British Ports continue to sing the praises of Verizon 5G.

Women In Sales Awards Honorees

Andy shared how great it was to meet and celebrate our Women in Sales Awards Honorees. The Honorees are some of the top performers in sales, operations, and marketing across the region. The Women in Sales Awards (WISA) Europe promotes gender diversity in the workplace and encourages women to consider careers in sales.

Verizon Travel Pass

Andy spoke about how easy it was to connect with family back in the states during his time in London, thanks to Verizon Travel Pass. With Travel Pass customers can take advantage of unlimited calling and texting along with 4G LTE. On our Get More plan, you get one free TravelPass day each month, and you can accumulate up to 12 days a year.

Manchester United

In Europe, football is all about scoring goals, and a new partnership between Verizon and the Manchester United soccer team, will make those goals even sweeter.

Verizon Business recently announced a dedicated strategy, specifically designed for stadium and venue customers located in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. This new strategy leverages Verizon’s innovative private 5G capabilities, extensive industry expertise and key new technology partnerships.

Extreme Networks is named as a technology partner within Verizon’s international stadium partner ecosystem. And together we’ll be rolling out Wi-Fi solutions such as HD-Wi-Fi connectivity at Manchester United Football Club’s Old Trafford stadium. These improvements will enhance the Club’s digital services such as mobile ticketing and touchless transactions.

Reading office visit

Andy introduced us to some of the V Team at our Reading,U.K., office. The office located about 40 miles, or 65 kilometers from our London office is home to nearly 1,000 of our Verizon colleagues. They represent Verizon Business, Finance, Network, Legal, HR, Marketing, and Strategy. We heard from International Payroll Associate Director Bronwynn Gordon, End User Support Engineer Grant Taylor and Zak Graham with International Logistics Support. They all shared why they love being part of the V Team.

Remember to fill out your VZPulse+ survey

V Team, another reminder to fill out your VZPulse+ survey. You have seven days left to get it done, as the deadline to participate is May 16.

This is a great opportunity to make your voice heard and help us move forward together to make Verizon an even better place to work. The survey is completely confidential and handled by our external partner Gallup to ensure the privacy of your responses.
