Chris Sanders from our Verizon Response team and Enterprise Sales Operations updated us on how we’re responding to Hurricane Sally, keeping the safety and connectivity of our customers and first responders top of mind.

Diversity Representation Report

We heard from Chief HR Officer Christy Pambianchi, who shared our June 2020 Diversity Representation Report, a comprehensive overview of who makes up the V Team. The report captures the diversity of our workforce and acknowledges the work that needs to be done to drive greater diversity and inclusion across teams and at all levels.

Northeast Youth of the Year

Verizon is happy to be a part of the Northeast Youth of the Year event from the volunteering group Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Verizon Business Group leader of 5G Ecosystems and Alliances George Fisher caught up with past recipient of the Youth of the Year honor, Courtney Patterson, to discuss the civic importance of volunteering. Staycation Road Trip: Australia

The staycation continues, this time from the land down under in Australia. Andy talked to travel YouTubers Kara and Nate Buchanon, who gave us an inside look into the beautiful scenes of Australia from the Sydney Harbour to the Great Barrier Reef. We also got to hear from Indie Pop band Glades, who closed out the episode with great music and a love for their Australian roots.
