My son is eight years old, was putting it on when it slipped out of his and landed on a wood floor. Screen shattered and glass broke into pieces. I understand it is tech, but if you make something for kids it shouldn’t be more fragile than any iPhone ever. When I called Verizon, the service rep noted I didn’t get the device protection…on a kids watch. I would understand if my son had dropped it from the top of a stairwell—but a three foot fall on wood? The rep then suggested I take it to a third party and I could pay for a screen replacement. I just canceled my account and paid through the nose to payoff the watch. And while my cancellation was processing the rep tried to sell me other Verizon products. Not worth it.

They can have a text chat with a parent-approved contacts individually or with everyone at once in a Gizmo group chat. Using the GizmoHub app, parents can create their child’s Gizmo chat groups and select members for the group.

Encourage a sense of responsibility in your child by creating a task list in the GizmoHub app that syncs with the Gizmo Watch 3, as does setting a daily step goal. For fun, there's Tic-Tac-Toe, a timed jumping game, a pattern-matching game called Gizmo Says, and Puzzle. Kids can even learn about the local weather forecast from their Gizmo Watch 3 and choose a digital watch face that changes with the seasons.

A quick catch up using video calling on Gizmo Watch 3 and GizmoHub on your smartphone can keep you and your child close during the day, and in a fun way. The watch's front-facing camera can also be used to take selfies and create video messages.

Siblings or friends with Gizmo watches can be set up in the GizmoHub app as Gizmo buddies6 so they can call, video call or message each other with emojis, photos and voice or video recordings. In addition, Gizmo Watch 3 has a new way to make Gizmo buddies. If two Gizmo Watch 3's are in the same room, they can find each other's watches via Bluetooth and send requests to their parents to be Gizmo buddies.
Worry less about the “where are you?”
Of course, your child's location is a top concern. That's why location and map features are front and center on the GizmoHub app. Create multiple location alerts to know your child's location at a specific time each day, or when they cross in or out of specific areas. Tap the refresh location or real-time tracking buttons to get location updates on demand. Also, your child can easily use their Gizmo Watch 3 to check in and send you a real-time location notification.
Add friends and family you trust.
You decide who can connect with your child's Gizmo Watch 3, with up to 20 contacts, including the primary guardian. Choose a role for each contact - guardian, caregiver, calling contact or Gizmo buddy - each with specific permissions according to role - for calling or texting your child, viewing location, and managing settings.

I am consistently getting inaccurate location information from this Gizmo. I has to call the school and confirm my child was in class. The sole purpose of the watch was for location tracking, emergency calls, and delaying the purchase of a smartphone for my tween. Totally Disappointed in this product and the ongoing costs associated with it.

I bought two as Christmas gifts for my kids because they had a deal going on, buy one get $100 off the second one.
First the app kept disconnecting from the watches and I had to keep reconnecting them and then in the app I had a bunch of watches and couldn’t get rid of them.
The location sometimes worked. The watch would say he wasnt at school when he was or when I’m sitting in the house it would say he is a few miles away.
The calling and video calling feature did not always work.
5 months in one of them died and Verizon wouldn’t replace it. 7 months in the other one died.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
We have had the gizmo 3 for 2 years now and my daughter loves it. We can know scaly where she is at all times. She can text or call us. She can also send voice records and videos or pictures to us. We really don't let her leave the house without it. It also had a school function so that she doesn't use it during the school day. I wild highly rencontre it to everyone one it had been a godsend when we couldn't find her.

Purchased this for my son on February, and after 2 months and while the watch was doing a self software update. The watch stopped working and just shows a frozen screen with logo. After 4 days, 5 phone calls to Verizon and 8 hrs on the phone with the most ineficiente customer service. They sent me a replacement, sending the wrong model, and wrong color: they sent me a bulkier version without the same features that my son’s current watch has. He did not want it , I sent it back and still have not being able to get my problem solved, no watch, unable to communicate with my son and no signs of help with Verizon! The worst part of this whole situation is having to deal with Verizon customer unsupport, and realizing that they are the worse cell company provider in the USA.

Easy to use but app on parents phone is terrible. Does not have good service and does not link great with restrictions. Cracked very easily. tracking is not accurate.
