Jetpack 8800 series · 6 days ago

Device disconnects from TV randomly while in middle of use. If plugged in constantly problems increase. It also gets extreamly hot. The back of device appears to have warped . more than one connected device causes no service . its days at can support 10 devices but that's only true if all ten devices are turned off. It works 1 device so so but not without buffeting sometimes it can take an hour to watch a 30 min show do to buffering

I have all the same issues everyome else is having, short battery life(I dont leave it plugged in 24/7), when in 30gb grace period it works ok sometimes but when that 30 is up the streaming abilities drop considerably and unusable for most apps, also multiple times during use the device either reboots or disconnects causing annoying streaming interuptions. My only other option is to use my phone as a hotspot but that is hard on my phone so perhaps I will have to save an old phone for hotspot purposes. Everyone around me uses Sprint hotspot and they dont seem to have any trouble. Perhaps its time for a change.

I bought this product last month and it was not good / said to have capacity for 15 products, I connected Netflix on the TV and everything was fine / when I connected a second device to the device / the screen of my TV, it became completely blurry / the device had all the signal lines / but my TV looked very low quality / when I connected a third device / Netflix was restarted and sometimes it did not work / (this was the first and the third day I buy it) I spend daily hotspot on my television from my phone or one of my tablets and it has never stopped like with that device / on my phone I watch Disney, hbo max and Netflix every day / my phone stays on all night and my internet never fails or pass over 100g / this Device apart from not working / is spending more than 100g in less than a tre weeks and without even being

Mine works get 3 bars using the Antenna hook up with the antenna on my roof

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

With only 1 and 2 bars I can watch Netflix and still play Xbox live with no lagging. My only problem is the device gets hot and the batter drains really fast so I basically have to leave it hooked to charger so battery stays charged and powered on. An I like since I have a Verizon contract I get 50GB a month for 20$$ and have used 57GB watching Netflix and Apple TV

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

We can stream with it. Except for Hulu. But the high speed runs out too fast. When it does it still works fine. I only use it for TV and printer. I have unlimited data on my cell phone. But when I print I have to put the device I'm printing from on the MiFi also. I've been very happy with this. I hope they upgrade this one day so I can stream Hulu. Hulu only allows a home WiFi, not cellphone WiFi. We live in an RV park, so they give us a landline WiFi. We watch Hulu on this. However, we use Verizon's mifi to watch Netflix, roku, and others. It's great!!!... get it.

The best 4G hotspot Verizon offers

5 out of 5 rating

TheTechDude · 1 months ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This device, made by Novatel now Inseego is the best 4G Wi-Fi hotspot Verizon currently offers. It has an easy to use touchscreen, large 4400 mAh battery and supports all of Verizon's LTE bands for the fastest signal and works internationally. If you need a hotspot for internet while travelling, use in an RV, etc. this is the one to get!

Good Reliable Product

4 out of 5 rating

KennethJ888 · 1 months ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

First of all, this product is meant as a mobile device for WIFI service, and is not intended for 24/7. Second, I usually do keep this device on 24/7 as I am in a rural location without available WIFI. I find it works best if I run it on battery during the day, and charge it at night. It has been pretty reliable although I don't use it for it's intended purpose. I have not had any connections issues or dropped signals. We normally connect six devices simultaneously and performance has been good. I frequently stream videos and movies with no buffering issues. I also like the feature to block certain accounts from connecting to the device (if even just temporarily). My only complaint is that if I try to charge the device with the battery greater than 40%, it won't charge, and the battery will run down to zero. Again, this device is not meant for 24/7 use (unfortunately). My other complaint is that the menu controls are difficult to use for my fat fingers. Could design the device for larger screen command buttons (e.g., back button). And some of the commands aren't that responsive, such as the connection button in the middle of the home screen (have to click it multiple times usually). Fortunately, I just usually turn it on and forget about it, so the control issues aren't that troublesome.
