Slow speeds

2 out of 5 rating

I got this device as I lived in an area where I didn’t have an option for other internet. I have recently moved to a higher internet access area but like the price and ability to move it with me but the speeds are super slow and signal is weak. My phone will have full signal on 4G while this has 1/2 bars max. Also when my phone as the exact same single is in 1/2 or even full signal the speeds are wildly different. The hotspot hits a max of about 10-15 full signal while my phone pulls close to 50 all while on the same 4GLTE and the same signal.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I have to reset the router often because of connection issues with my tv, laptop, and tablet, usually after about 24 hours. When you run out of your hi-speed data, downloads are less than 300k consistently. I do not have this problem under the same circumstances with my Motorol and Samsung mobile hotspots. The result, it works, kind of.
