owned an older version of this Verizon Jetpack and it worked great! Bought this replacement 'upgrade' and its speed is surprisingly terrible. Previous version was super fast, this piece of junk is currently getting about .5mbps download and upload speed from numerous locations around Vacaville/Davis. I reset the device, updated the software, and still slow. Get much faster speeds using my iphone 12 hotspot in same exact locations. Returning as we speak.

When the hotspot works it’s great but the battery life is short I have to re charge it every day sometimes twice a day

I have two of these devices and I'd really like to leave a good review because when they work they're great but... Both devices intermittently just lose "internet", they're connected, everything looks fine but no internet. I've added external antennas and tried everything I can think of. A reboot will solve it temporarily, most of the time. No, it's not signal (though my signal is terrible) else both would behave the same at the same time, they don't. Admittedly I live in a difficult area and what's most frustrating is the unpredictable nature of the issue. I've worked from home for many years and have tried many solutions. This one has great potential, I had their "Home Fusion" product previously but experienced too many equipment failures. If you want to stream movies it's "okay" but if you need reliability and dependability this is not the answer. Touchscreen is not very responsive and the battery doesn't last long either but that's not important to me. Finally just an annoyance but I constantly receive spam text messages on both devices, please allow users to disable that function.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

We live in an area where internet service is very limited, and we travel a lot, so this jetpack serves us well, with the unlimited plan. as our only internet service.

I bought mine nearly 5 months ago for heavy use and then it just stopped working. I also had times where it wouldn’t turn on even when it was charged and when it was on it had a 50/50 chance of working. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

so if you live in any place where this is ur only option go without internet you fortnite champs! It will be for you better sanity in fortnite solo cc i have more earned nerds quit.

Don’t waste your money, just use your hotspot on your phone. Added 25 dollars a month to my plan and gives me 6 hours each month before the hotspot data runs out and speeds are greatly reduced, after those 6 or so hours everything plays for 5 seconds before buffering for 30 seconds.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I made truck driver and I have to say I have been pretty surprised some of the places where I was able to get mobile hotspots out in the middle of farm lands and middle of nowhere. Didn't have really any buffering issues. I was sitting still when I was parked. For what I needed for so far so good. Only able to use it for a couple hours so far but if anything changes I will let you know

I almost didn’t buy this Jetpack because of the reviews. Well am I ever glad I decided to go to Verizon and talk to someone there. After speaking with the person there I decided to give it a try. We just moved to a rural area where there is no high speed internet. We do get a good Verizon signal on our phones. This Jetpack has been amazing! We stream TV, use the internet and use Xbox with no issues. This actually works better than our former internet provider. So happy we tried it. Definitely a happy customer.
