Intermediate “lightning-to-3.5mm audio” connector

It would be nice if Belkin mentioned that this device required usage of intermediate “lightning-to-3.5mm audio” connector to deploy it on 3.5mm-audio devices (car speaker or headphone).

I’ve had to replace this every 4-6 months. The rubber sheath right below where it connects to the little plastic connector to the phone, always starts splitting and exposing the wiring. Then what starts happening is that while you’re watching or listening to something, the connection stops working or the sound comes through the device instead of continuing through the headphones.
