The battery pack has already paid for itself when I found my phone battery low and with no convenient way to recharge it at the time.
The one thing I would like to see is the juice pack automatically start charging the phone when it reaches a certain percentage but that was not a deal breaker for me.

I bought this last month in June in hopes of it performing better than amazon competitors. However, I came to understand that either my product is defective or I am not getting the proper charge. I barely get to 50% with my phone OFF! I don't know, I was recommended by a friend to purchase one and I am disappointed. Maybe I will consider a warranty replacement if they have one.
The case is sturdy but the charging capability is lackluster.

For years, I've told friends, "Mophie is the best tech gadget in the world! You should get one!" Unfortunately, the Galaxy S9 version is horrible. Less power, less everything. The more formidable S6 is much better. Very disappointed. I won't be telling my friends that "I love my Mophie" any more.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
after buying this in realizing the size of it in addition to the regular size of the phone I am now realizing that they put two small a battery on there. also I did drop it from approximately 3 ft high and everything remained copacetic so that is a good thing and the overall design is very user-friendly however the inability of the battery charger and the phone do not interact on a more connected level leaves much to be desired. Perhaps Mophie should work with the manufacturers in order to have a Bluetooth app built into the case in order for it to charge in synchronicity so that the case battery continually tops off the main battery.

First, only has capacity to charge the S9 about 60%, (when it works). It frequently does not charge, either wirelessly, or with supplied cable. Unreliable. When it does work, the sweet spot for wireless charging is toward bottom of unit, so if you have a Samsung stand up wireless charger, you need to prop the phone higher (I use a folded post it note - annoying). As a case, it is slippery to hold, and doesn't protect phone. Finally, there are no belt clips supported, so you need to buy a goofy pouch to carry. The juice pack is bulky, slippery and doesn't have much capacity to charge phone. My previous ones for S7 were better (barring the bezel which always cracked around buttons, and I made 2 or 3 warranty claims at that time. Better to buy a small portable USB charger and a nice case that you can hold onto and actually protect phone.
