The XT pro is a good case. It offers good protection for your phone. It takes a little work to put together. I would recommend this case, IF YOU ONLY USE ONE CASE. The method of putting together and removing has been reported by some people to be frustrating.
***I recommend starting at the bottom of the case when installing and the top when removing. If you have a guitar pick, or a similar plastic tool, it makes installation easier. ***
I have always liked Otterbox for protection. They are not flashy. They are functional. I would recommend this case to anyone who is looking in protection of the life of the phone.

Doesn’t actually FIT at all ! Have defender case around new IPhone 14 plus and these newer holder do NOT fit as previous ones did.

Hello! We certainly apologize for any confusion! The Defender Series and Defender Pro Series cases use one holster and the Defender XT and Defender Pro XT Series cases use another holster. Mixing a holster from one series with a case from another can often lead to the issue that you describe. You're correct in saying this case doesn't feature a built-in screen protector though.
