I bought this Otterbox for my new phone but I am very disappointed that there is no protection against dust and dirt getting into the charging port when the cable is unplugged. My old phone had a rubber flap that covered the charging port when the phone was unplugged. I am worried that dirt will eventually work its way in and cause charging problems.

I used a lot of Otterboxes. And they always worked. But when I got one for my Note 9 it didn't. My screen was broke barely 2 weeks after I got it. So this time I'm trying something else.

My phone feels far more protected than most other cases that I have tried, including the Dbrand grip and spigen tough armour, however, the grip on this case is only on the sides, not the hard plastic rear. The hard plastic rear is fine to hold but I can't even prop up my phone on a slight angle on a wooden table, for example, to watch a video without the phone sliding out from under itself. This back is great for protection, but makes usability a little on the awkward side. On the flip side, you could always use the case and phone as an ice hockey puck if you're in a pinch... It isn't too bulky for an otterbox, and I would say has a good feel for the protection you get. Edge screen access is usable, and the raised chin and forehead bumps are great for putting the phone face down on a surface. Overall, a very solid recommend if you can live with the slightly slippery back

This case is alright. When I first put it on it fight just right but after awhile it started slipping off the phone. It was cheap so I'm not surprised. I would recommend this to others who need a quick and affordable phone case. Otherwise it's a good phone case with a good grip. [product:otterbox-symmetry-series-case-for-galaxy-note9]

That is a great question. The OtterBox Symmetry Series Case for Galaxy Note 9 may charge on the wireless charger, however there may be conflicts due to the case being thick. -Yesenia
