I have a motorola edge plus. It charges fast at the beginning but once it it hits 80% it takes forever to charge. It has a good starting performance but not a great finish. please fix or maybe I got a defective one.

I bought this for my father who just had neck surgery. He needed a charger where he didn’t have to bend over to grab the cord. The charger arrived and doesn’t work. I’m currently on hold with Verizon for over 45 minutes waiting to speak to a representative to either exchange it or get a refund.
