It’s super lightweight, comfortable, and looks great on your finger—whether you’re at the gym or just going about your day.
One of the best things about the Galaxy Ring is how it helps you keep track of your health with Galaxy AI powered insights. It monitors things like sleep, activity, and cycle tracking, and all the data is easy to access through the Samsung Health app. If you already have a Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Ring syncs perfectly with it, so you can see all your health stats in one place.
Another cool feature is the auto-workout detection. You don’t have to manually start or stop anything when you’re working out. The Ring just knows when you're active and tracks it for you. Plus, it has this unique Double Pinch gesture that lets you control your phone’s camera or dismiss alarms without even touching your phone.
Battery life is solid. It lasts for a few days on a single charge, which is great since you won’t have to constantly worry about plugging it in. It doesn’t have wireless charging, but the long battery life more than makes up for it.

Outstanding Battery and Insights. What immediately impressed me was the battery life. I get a solid six to seven days of use before needing to charge. The charging case is small and convenient, making top-ups incredibly fast and simple. This long battery life means I can wear it nearly 24/7 for continuous, uninterrupted data collection.
The health metrics it captures are fantastic. The sleep tracking is excellent, giving me detailed insights into my sleep stages, movement, and vital signs like heart rate and skin temperature. But it's the all-in-one Energy Score that I rely on most. It takes my sleep, activity, and heart rate data and synthesizes it into a single, easy-to-understand number that truly helps me plan my day and manage my wellness.
Seamless Galaxy AI Integration
The intelligence behind the ring is where it really shines. The integration of Galaxy AI throughout the Samsung Health app is seamless and genuinely useful. The AI helps interpret the raw data from the ring's sensors (accelerometer, optical bio-signal, and skin temperature) and provides personalized, actionable Wellness Tips and detailed reports that help me build healthier habits.

Almost exactly one year from the day I received my ring I started having battery issues. The battery does not even charge anymore. Perhaps the 2nd Gen will be improved. The color does not hold up well to everyday use I am a full samsung guy, but this ring has failed me

Beyond tracking my steps, sleep and cycle, it also can take photos remotely and turn off alarms. I love the little features added to the ring that make it better than others in the market. This ring works well and is extremely accurate with the data it generates. There was basically no pairing or set up. The Samsung health app immediately recognized and paired with the ring. Battery runs about 4 days.
Important tip: order one size up. My finger is a 10 and the 11 fits perfectly.
