I'm not sure what kind of major abuse others are putting their phones through to give this product such a bad review, but I can personally say that I love this protector, and I'm definitely not gentle with my phone. I purchased it nearly 2 years ago when I originally bought my phone, and it has lasted me the entire time until last night. I have an Incipio case on as well, so I don't notice any issues that others have mentioned about the corners catching in your pocket and causing the protector to come off.
Only downside I would add is that, as others have mentioned, it does not cover the curved edges of the screen, so there is a small border around the phone between my case and the protector that occasionally gets dirt/dust in it.

The Verizon Store installed the screen protector and did a great job. It was on straight and there were no bubbles. The screen protector itself is a cheap piece of garbage! I was holding the phone against the table lengthwise watching a video. The phone slipped out of my hand and tipped forward onto the table, face down and this cracked the screen protector. Not just one small crack, but two large cracks all the way across the protector. I could understand this if the phone fell a few feet onto a hard surface, but the phone was sitting on the table and tipped forward. I do not recommend this product and definitely will not be wasting my money on another one.

Not sure why all the negative on this product. Was on a trip recently and dropped my phone. The screen protector cracked, but my phone screen didn't! So glad I had this. Granted, it had popped off my phone once before, but I put it back on and it still worked. I think when it pops off it is just doing its job.

Had the original that came wiht the phone last about 3 months and then it popped off and broke. Got the repalcement and it is now broken after 3 months and the phone has never been dropped. The protector works itself loose and then breaks

I bought this a month ago and on the first drop the screen came off. The glue allowed it to go back on the phone but it has not stayed on well since. A waste of money!

After putting on this screen protector, if you want to use your phone outside in bright sunlight, good luck. You can't see your screen because the gate is so bad. I tried 3 of these same screen protectors... One time I had to pop it off so I could see where to answer the phone... When I put it back on, there must have been a tiny piece of something under there because it scratched the screen. One time I put my phone in my bra to hold it there while I was outside gardening and talking on the phone at the same time. All of a side my phone turned off after about an hour... My sweat had gotten under y the screen protector and had filled it up... So gross, I know. I had to take the screen protector off to be able to use it again. I ended up getting some liquid glass from Amazon that seems to be working.

I purchased this with my phone less than 3 months ago. I had the person at the Verizon store install it, however it has fallen off numerous times and is now broken!

I got the phone 2 weeks ago and at first I did not want a screen protector because I switched from a galaxy S7 Edge and I already had issues with the protector for it because it wouldn't curve, so I told him I don't want the screen protector if it has the same flaw. The employee assured me several times that this wasn't the case, because it is a high quality product. Guess what? It doesn't cover the entirety of the screen, has two parallel lines across the curved edges and the middle "bubble" is still there. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. It's garbage.
Popped off the screen

I had the Verizon Rep install this when I upgraded to the Pixel 2 XL. He did a good job of that. It seemed to fit well. I am not one to notice things like the other reviewers commented about - i.e. not perfect fit.
I dropped my phone from about 3 feet to a tile floor and the phone hit on the edge. I also have a case so there was no damage to the phone but the screen protector popped right off. I was going to put it back on but my pet's hair got on the inside of the screen protector. I touched the edges of the inside of this protector and found that the glue is very inadequate for sticking to a surface for very long. There is no residue on the phone's screen so all the glue was still on the protector. I have sent an email to the manufacture but I would REALLY prefer a refund.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!

I'll start by saying the Verizon rep perfectly installed this screen protector on my phone. So this isn't his fault at all - I actually thank him for installing so perfectly!
While the screen protector does, for the most part, fit the entirety of the screen, there are two adhesive strips that run the full height of left and right sides of the screen protector. These two strips will always be visible. I thought I could get over it and ignore them, but they distort the image underneath of them and reduce touch sensitivity around the edges. I keep questioning why I spent $$ on a screen protector that I hate, and I am actually considering contacting my local Verizon store for a REFUND. I've had many phone screen protectors over the years - some cheap, some nice, but this is the worst.
Maybe the issue is inherent to the type/shape of screen, but surely we have the science and technology to figure these things out, especially when paying a premium price? Perhaps a 'wet install' screen protector would be better for this screen, since it would adhere to the screen without visible adhesive strips.
In summary - do not buy, I want my money back, there has to be better options out there.
