Horrible Charger

I purchased this charger and after about 2 weeks it stopped working lole.it should. When my phone is plugged in, it randomly goes on and off, I know this because of the audible sound it makes when the phone connects to it. I thought it was my phone but it wasnt, it's the charging cord. Super disappointed.

This may be great for whatever it is intended to be used for. I bought this thinking I could charge my phone but it has a usb c at both ends and I have no idea what I could use this for. Will have to return.

I purchased this because my old fast charging cable stopped working (gee, verizon, get it together). It worked fine for a couple of weeks, but today it just stopped working. While the issue could be the base/plug/cube thing, that was working fine up till now as well, so i'm blaming the cable. I haven't moved the cable around unnecessarily, I haven't kinked it up or anything. it just has stopped working. this is especially irritating because my phone is my alarm clock!!

Can this cable be used both for charging and data transfer for a Pixel 2? Does it support fast charging? Is there also a device that will enable it to be used with a USB A computer connection both for charging and data transfer?
