Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Not everyone wants or needs a flagship phone. This phone takes fine pictures, the battery lasts all day, and who doesn't love the chop chop flashlight trick. Sure it is getting long in the tooth but it is a fine phone that is simple to use and easy to afford.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

The Snapdragon 750G processor in my 5G UW Ace (2021) is better than the processors in any of Motorola's current crop of budget devices. The Ace also has better connectivity (Verizon bands). I'm stuck on Android 12, but don't care. This phone is a solid device, even in 2024. I run Verizon Digital Secure in the background and stay away from sketchy sites for lack of current software, but my Ace rocks because of its very good hardware.

I bought it for my senior parent and it’s the worse phone ever! The phone just dies and the quality of the sound on the other end is just horrific. I have to ask her to repeat something several times because it goes in and out.

My 5yr old phone was better than this phone by yr1

I just approached the 2yr mark of having this phone and it's been progressively getting slower and more annoying to use. I remember my old Motorola phone being around 5yrs old when I began getting frustrated with it and begrudgingly said it was time for an upgrade, well I feel as if I downgraded bc from the beginning it didn't feel like much of an upgrade. And basically saying that about a brand new phone vs a 5yr old phone, should say something. Then of course it progressively got worse, around yr1 it was just slowing down so much, everything quits, camera takes forever to open. I genuinely thought I'd had this phone for longer until I searched when I purchased it and was surprised that it was this time 2yrs ago when I received it. Now?! Well I can barely do anything on this phone, I thought maybe it was storage and deleted apps, nothing. Android 12 update I think was the beginning of the end (that was last yr) now I'm lucky if I get any app to work longer than a few mins, and if I'm switching between any it's a nightmare. Battery being lower than 40% makes everything worse, I might as well not bother. Consistently now the apps that struggle SEVERAL times a day are messages, camera, Google, any social media app I just restart the phone. It's getting annoying and maybe it's an unpopular opinion but I'm debating on putting up with this nonsense for longer so I don't have to drop another couple hundred on a phone that works. What is with phones costing $700 and up. I spent $300 on this and I don't consider that a small fee and to discover it barely works? So do I bother with another that price or do I have to go to $500+ in order to get a semi functioning machine? Now I'm just ranting, basically don't invest in this. It's a PAIN! I think I'm going to have to switch from Motorola now bc it doesn't seem like any are worth it rn. Might have to move to Samsung phones?

Charging port is awful.

The phone is overall ok for a less expensive phone. BUT....the charging port is absolutely horrible. Hard to get the plug to stay in and with the least touch it falls out. I am actually using a Motorola turbo charger with the phone. Once it finally charges it holds a charge well...just extremely aggravating to get the cord to stay put.

I believe I am now on my third phone because of the charging port. The first on broke and no warranty and was still under a year. Had to pay the insurance on it and now this one the port is so loose on my cord that it is hard to charge.

Worst phone I have ever had, by a mile

I have had this hunk of junk for 2 years, still owe another year. It lags and is beyond slow. Can barely use the camera because by the time it opens the moment has long since passed. Apps constantly not responding. Keyboard lag. Apps take forever to open. And now the phone won't charge. I have always hated Apple but now I hate Android more. Switching phones and probably providers too. Verizon shouldn't even offer this mess.

Absolutely the biggest Piece of JUNK!!! This phone takes for ever to open up whether it's opening up a app. , sending or receiving a text or anything you want to do. This is the second phone with the same exact problem. After reading a lot of the reviews with the same issue, you would think Verizon would fix the problem or replace the phone with a different model. 30 years as a Verizon cell phone customer I'll be looking for other cell phone company to do business with....

Shipment Disaster

I ordered an upgraded phone, but never received it. UPS told me that Verizon shipped it to the wrong address and someone accepted it there. Verizon now tells me that they consider that phone to be "received" by me! So . . . I have now paid the upgrade fee and am now paying a monthly payment for a phone I never received. P.S I just read the Verizon Terms and Conditions on sending this message. You may never read it.
