Bought it back 2021 knowing 5G was on the way. Memory and speed is outstanding. Three years later...Still going strong and the battery runs like new and it's on 24/7.

Screen shots show up out of the blue without taking them. Phone calls are made, etc. had to put a screen lock on phone.

It's slow and the wifi connection is not good mostly works on data when your out of the house...my Samsung j7 was better in connecting to anything

It's terrible at connecting. I lose service when I should have service. I do not get notifications like I should and have lost business over this. I got a work phone because I thought Facebook and Instagram were to blame but I found out that it's not fully them. This phone doesn't notify me on things for hours if it notifies me at all. To be fair not all notifications are lost, mainly the important ones. It won't open messages or will show me I have messages that don't appear for a long while. It won't send pictures in morning which is a vital part of my job. And the worst part is Verizon is refusing to help unless I upgrade and pay for a new phone! Verizon doesn't care at all.

Great Phone this is my second A42 5G. the first didn't do well after I drop it into a lake. LOL It would turn on but would not work right. Just keep it out of the lake.

I Bought the Samsung Galaxy A42 5g here in September 2023 for super cheap and wasn't expecting much from a phone that is pushing 3 yrs old but I was wrong, this phone does everything I need it to, great photo quality from the rear and selfie cameras, battery life is amazing, is it as good as a Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra 5g , of course not it never was but it is a cheap little beast of a phone, not sure why there's a lot of Bad reviews about it, I have been using it for almost 23 days and no issues at all in fact I love it, the under screen fingerprint is a little slow but it works fine for the money I paid for it I'm not complaining at all. I'm going to use it until It stops working and is unusable.

So, there's no AUX port on this phone? Confirming what I read as an answer to another question because that seems ridiculous. I also saw no information for a REAR Camera. Does it have that feature?
