Android os is so confusing and not reliable. It would random reboot. After multiple visit with store, they wouldn’t replace it either. With Android, privacy and security always suffers. No more android phone

liked the s7 better

3 out of 5 rating

my review of S21 · 3 days ago

The Google speech texts text is not as good as it was on the S7 the Bixby was actually worse I have had the phone for a month now And I'm still having issues with the speech text I spend more time editing than if I had just typed it out. Other issues are the volume control, they need some kind of lock, it' I'm constantly turning it up. next I'm getting too many advertisements Notifications on the lock screen from Samsung, that they don't let you turn off. The last issue is the size itself, the phones are starting to to get too big, if I want a larger screen I'll buy a tablet. I am in Construction and in my back pocket. I feel like I'm going to snap it

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I really like this phone. The pictures are the best on any phone I've ever used. I don't really feel like writing anything negative because mostly it's awesome, there's just every once in a while where something seems a little less bullet proof than my last Samsung Galaxy S9. I just liked it better, it seemed a little more tough and dependable... I don't know, you'll like it. Buy it

I'm really disappointed in this phone, It will not stay on fast charging, Yes I have tried the cord that came with it and bought 2 new ones, It over heats to the point I shut it down and put it down. It freezes and has a glitch to it. I don't think I will ever buy another Samsung after reading reviews on other phones. Definitely not worth the money. I got it in March 2021

Unreasonably heavy phone with a very unpleasant UX/UI, but great camera

2 out of 5 rating

tolexawnley · 4 days ago

Honestly the camera is the only reason I didn't return the phone in the first week. I'm a photographer and need a camera that can keep up with my day to day life with my kids and partner and travel, and this phone does that. It's about the only thing that it does that's worth holding on to, though. I guess this may be expecting too much of the current smartphone market, but I've used probably 40 different android devices since 2010 when I got the Motorola Droid 1, the majority of which have been Samsung devices (Galaxy S Fascinate, S3, Note 2, S4, S6, S7 Edge, Nexus S, Nexus S i515, Galaxy Mega, Stratosphere, Dart, Droid Charge, and then some..) and more often than not I feel a genuine level of excitement booting up the phone for the first time and exploring the OS. This phone just feels clunky. There are parts of the OS that you can tell Samsung worked on a good bit, and parts that just feel leftover from vanilla Android, leaving the entire experience feeling a little tiresome and disjointed. The interfaces just feel like.. yeah, this does the job, but I want to stop looking at it as soon as possible. Things feel cluttered constantly, and as Samsung has crammed an insane amount of features into the phone, the system settings are kind of painful to navigate aside from there being a useful search. Bixby sucks. Bixby is something that nobody wants but Samsung refuses to let go of, so instead of shipping the phone with a power button, we have a volume rocker and a Bixby button? Which thankfully is able to be reprogrammed, but on top of that, Bixby activates ALL THE TIME when nobody is asking for it. It'll just randomly start listening to me, or I'll get a push notification that "voice wake up" has activated, which just is not true, and truthfully this gives me some major privacy concerns. Why is Bixby just suddenly listening without being prompted? If I could get rid of it entirely, I would. Finally - the biggest flaw this stupid phone has is how slick the front glass is. You'd think it'd be a good thing until you sit your phone face down on the flat surface of your table while you're having dinner outside a restaurant and are startled by the sound of it cracking on the pavement because the glass is so slick it literally just smoothly glided off the tabletop. And Asurion wants $250 to replace it. Can too-slick-glass leading to a broken screen be considered a manufacturer's defect? I don't know. I would never buy this phone again. I wish I'd returned it at this point. I'm going to ditch it asap for a Pixel 6 Pro. The camera is incredible, but not worth the disappointing experience the rest of the phone gives.

Since getting this phone, I have been massively disappointed in the memory/storage and difficulty sending/receiving messages. The ONLY good thing about this is the camera, but God forbid you try to keep them. I have to delete apps, messages, photos constantly.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I have 5 different phones... All range from 60.00 - 1500.00 PHONES and I have to say that I absolutely love this phone better.. I'm not able to zoom in on the moon with any of my other phones.. This one gets up and close.. Talk text is nice.. There is some features on this one that I wish it has like I have on my other phones... But I do Doordarsh and Ubereats and I use this phone for running my apps and I never have the issues with this phone as I do with the others.. My v-60 moto g5 and my galaxy phones all lose internet connections.. This one has so far been the best phone yet.. But like I said there's some things I wish this one had like all the others.. Hopefully they will be coming out with a updated version that's got all those features...

Why no SD memory card slot? For Samsung to continually upgrade the camera systems and ever larger file sizes, we NEED the convenience of memory cards!!! It looks like I will have to stay with my S10 Plus until you build S22 with memory card slots!!!
