I’ve had the phone for less than a week and it has been overheating from day one.

The phone did not work properly for the approximate two weeks I had it. Customer support kept saying it was on do not disturb. My son and ex wife have iphones and know them well. After getting a nice tip from the owner at Morris, MN Verizon, I called tech. Tiffany helped me. Here after almost two weeks, my number hadn't been ported over. I have lots more issues I'd like to explain in my roughly three weeks. I've been lied to, ignored. Walked away from and frustrated by uninformed support. I am truthful when I say I explained my story at least 9 times and I was pretty much ignored and lied to. I was told they'd put stuff in my notes and didn't. I was told they'd do certain things and didn't, like escalate my issue. I was without a working phone for almost two weeks. I had an agent set up an appt at the Morris,MN store at 3pm on Saturday, June 21st to switch the iphone to a Samsung. I get there and find out I can't because it's not a corporate store. She did kindly give me the tech number to try to figure out the iphone issue. While speeding to the Alexandria store, Tiffany from tech helped me call my former carrier. The phone hadn't been ported so we went through all that and eventually finished up in the Alexandria, MN Verizon store parking lot late that afternoon. We were just finishing up our business as they were drawing the metal blinds to close the store but I did get my Samsung phone. For 5 and a half hours of messing around and considerable miles, my ex wife who drove me, insisted in gas and a nice meal. That cost me over a $100. After almost 7 hours I got home and called support to explain my issue. ThT day and night alone I spent 14 hours with chat trying to get a reasonable solution to all this. In about three weeks, I have spent over 50 hours getting lied to, jrrked around, abandoned in chat and left with no help. I have tried to work out a reasonable solution but one thing, a young kid with no knowledge of what was going on gave me an insulting $29 credit as I even told him not to because I was working on a reasonable solution but he didn't listen. I was forgiven the bill fees from June 11th to June16th cause I asked. They were going to bill me a whole month. Tiffany from tech said she'd refund the $28 and some ridiculous service fees cause they made mo sense. I kept hearing from agents it's a "one time courtesy refund" No,no its not, Verizon screwed up and didn't want to own up for it. I had asked several times to escalate this and got nothing. I was given insulting offers but I turned them down and the one even disappeared. I have been kind and polite since this has all happened. I've put in hours of time and energy to try to rectify all these situations. I've lost two weeks of important phone calls,,online appts and doctor visits via online. Ifeel as I am just a number out of millions and did not receive decent treatment going through all this. I'm phycslly disabled from a bad car wreck and the renal cancer frw years back. I've had to rely on rides when I can or I would have gone in and put my foot down sooner I was a Verizon customer for over 15 years until my ex was allowed to steal my account. It was never this bad back then. This is by far the worst customer service and business experience I've ever had. I'm in the 30 day try it for free stage. I did all my account stuff, signing up online. If I cannot get a deserved and reasonable outcome, I'll just turn my phone in and go somewhere else. Thank you for listening. Jason
