What you'll need:
Trading in your old phone?
Turn off 'Find my iPhone' on your old phone before getting started.
Step 1 Turn off your old phone
Step 2 Power on your new phone
Hold the power button until the LG G8 ThinQ screen appears, then release.
Step 3 Setup Wizard
From the "Setup" screen, select the appropriate language, then tap Next.
Step 4 Enter your Verizon PIN
If prompted, from the "Verify Your Account" screen, enter your Verizon Account PIN and follow the onscreen prompts, then tap Next. If you forgot it, reset or create your Account PIN.
Step 5 Activate your new LG G8 ThinQ
From the "Phone activation" screen, tap Next. Please allow a few minutes for activation to complete.
6 Connect to Wi-FiStep 6 Connect to Wi-Fi
From the "Set up Wi-Fi" screen, select a network, enter the password and tap Connect or Skip the step. If your network isn't shown, tap Add Wi-Fi networks.
Step 7 Copy apps & data
Tap NEXT to copy your data and follow the steps to transfer your content. If you'd like a fresh start or would like to transfer your stuff later with the Verizon Content Transfer app or Cloud, tap DON'T COPY.

Step 9 Sign in to Google
Sign in to your Google account or create a new one. Signing in to Google allows you to access Gmail and your Google apps.

Review the Google Terms of Service, Google Play Terms of Service, and Google Privacy Policy. Tap I agree to confirm your selection.
11 Set up Google servicesSet up Google services
Google offers a variety of services that help many of their apps function better. Review all of them and tap the corresponding switch to turn them on. You may need to scroll down to see all of the services. Switches are turned on when in the blue position. Tap Accept to confirm your selection.
12 Secure your phoneStep 12 Secure your phone
Adding a fingerprint scan to your phone allows you to touch the fingerprint sensor to unlock it, sign into apps or make purchases. Tap Next to choose a screen lock like Add Fingerprint then follow the steps, or tap No, thanks.

From the "Ready to go!" screen, tap Got it to complete setup.
